Cook's Cottage was built by James Cook's father, a brick mason, in England about the same time that James made his first voyage of discovery. This small section of the house was de-constructed and reassembled in Melbourne and placed in this lovely city park.

About Kirsten Giving

Kirsten Giving

I have been taking pictures since I was young. I love the outdoors and enjoy taking landscape and botanical photos. With my lifelong interest in and study of interior design and architecture, I greatly enjoy taking pictures of buildings, interiors, and art. I have pursued my love of art and creation by making collages with many different themes. I am also interested in the Aboriginal arts of Australia, Pointillism, Dot Art, and watercolors. I have included some of my work in various Collections. I am a retired teacher, play golf, travel, camp, make jewelry, read, paint, make collages, and sew. Thank you for viewing my galleries.
