Beautiful Nye Beach, in Newport, Oregon, beckons strollers and beach lovers with its natural beauty and great vistas. This picture was taken in September, when kids and tourists are in school or at home! The wonderful blue ocean, with the white waves gently lapping ashore, leaves one with a feeling of peace. The Yaquina Head lighthouse on the cliff has helped many a mariner make it safely to shore. Wild plants and grasses grow on the hill in the foreground. Bright pink flowers bloom on some. The soft beige of the sands, both wet and dry, welcome walkers to this idyllic scene.

I have been taking pictures since I was young. I love the outdoors and enjoy taking landscape and botanical photos. With my lifelong interest in and study of interior design and architecture, I greatly enjoy taking pictures of buildings, interiors, and art.
