This beautiful palm tree seems to glow in the early morning sunshine at the Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course in Maui, Hawaii. The lovely West Maui Mountains form the backdrop and the city of Wailuku is visible at the base of the mountains. The golf course covers ancient sand dunes that were once under water, about a million years ago. The game is challenging with the rolls and ups and downs of dunes.

I have been taking pictures since I was young. I love the outdoors and enjoy taking landscape and botanical photos. With my lifelong interest in and study of interior design and architecture, I greatly enjoy taking pictures of buildings, interiors, and art. I have pursued my love of art and creation by making collages with many different themes. I am also interested in the Aboriginal arts of Australia, Pointillism, Dot Art, and watercolors.
