Everyone loves a beautiful rainbow, especially a double rainbow! The image was taken in Maui, Hawaii. The plentiful seaweed is seen under the surface, which is the food of the sea turtles. Several live in this area and it is fun to see them come up for air every so often. Sometimes, they surprise swimmers! The island of Lanai is on the left side of the horizon. The colors are soft in the morning sunshine. The aqua part of the water goes out to the reef and the deep blue is the deep blue Paniolo (cowboy) channel. The island of Oahu is often visible past the horizon, especially on a clear night when the lights glow across the thirty miles of sea.

I have been taking pictures since I was young. I love the outdoors and enjoy taking landscape and botanical photos. With my lifelong interest in and study of interior design and architecture, I greatly enjoy taking pictures of buildings, interiors, and art. I have pursued my love of art and creation by making collages with many different themes. I am also interested in the Aboriginal arts of Australia, Pointillism, Dot Art, and watercolors.
