San Pedro, California is the location of the busy harbor of Los Angeles. This photo was taken late in the afternoon, during a light rain. The lights throughout the loading area, lend a special glow on the water in the channel.
The great Vincent Thomas Bridge extends from one side of the channel to the other, which gives direct access to both passenger cars and huge semi trucks, loaded with goods for transfer to the entire USA. This is a special image for those interested in the shipping industry.
I have been taking pictures since I was young. I love the outdoors and enjoy taking landscape and botanical photos.
