Description
The Koi Pond at Kahili Golf Course in Maui, Hawaii has beautiful, white water lilies, which close up their flowers as the day warms up. This morning photo showcases the interesting shape of the lily pads, the leaves which float on the surface of the water. They are aquatic herbs and survive in temperate and tropical climates. Reflections of tiny coral flowers show, as well as leaves of larger plants along the edges.
