Kahili golf course is in a beautiful setting, on the isthmus between Haleakala and the West Maui Mountains. When landing on Maui, if you are on the port side of the plane, look down and you will see the course, set against the mountain. When playing this course, most of the time you can see two "sides" of the Pacific, both to the North and the South. This was taken on a particularly clear day, with the Trade Winds blowing, in the Spring of 2014.

I have been taking pictures since I was young. I love the outdoors and enjoy taking landscape and botanical photos. With my lifelong interest in and study of interior design and architecture, I greatly enjoy taking pictures of buildings, interiors, and art. I have pursued my love of art and creation by making collages with many different themes. I am also interested in the Aboriginal arts of Australia, Pointillism, Dot Art, and watercolors.
