For a long time I had a desire to see the beautiful Carson Mansion, located in the Northern California city of Eureka. I finally had the opportunity and fortunately, there were not any people around! It was built by a lumber baron who entertained extravagantly. The modern addition to the left is basically a ballroom, with windows opening out on a view of the coast. It is a private club at the present time. The club maintains this huge home in impeccable condition.

I have been taking pictures since I was young. I love the outdoors and enjoy taking landscape and botanical photos. With my lifelong interest in and study of interior design and architecture, I greatly enjoy taking pictures of buildings, interiors, and art. I have pursued my love of art and creation by making collages with many different themes. I am also interested in the Aboriginal arts of Australia, Pointillism, Dot Art, and watercolors.
