Signs of Winter Dot Painting. This painting is part of a collection of Dot Paintings, titled Signs of (each of the four seasons). Winter is the subject matter of this painting, made up of circles which were created with various sizes of dots on top of background colors. Wavy lines, rather like mounds of snow, lead the eye from side to side.
The colors for this painting include beautiful shades, mindful of winter! Aqua, gray, purple, green,and dark blue provide contrast and a feeling of winter.
Two, or four, of the images in the series would make for a feeling of the Seasons to hang on the wall! An individual painting would make a beautiful tote bag or notebook cover.
