Artist's Description
Cedar Grove Campground in King's Canyon National, high in the Sierra Mountains of California, has had an amphitheater for decades. Evening shows are held there, with topics ranging from Astronomy to Bears to exciting activities in the park. The old benches finally succumbed to weather, which is fierce in this high area and so, new ones were created, using ponderosa pines which had fallen in the park. I thought it such a serene setting that I wanted to photograph the lovely scene.

I have been taking pictures since I was young. I love the outdoors and enjoy taking landscape and botanical photos. With my lifelong interest in and study of interior design and architecture, I greatly enjoy taking pictures of buildings, interiors, and art. I have pursued my love of art and creation by making collages with many different themes. I am also interested in the Aboriginal arts of Australia, Pointillism, Dot Art, and watercolors.
