Description
A drawing with hundreds of dots, in wonderful colors display the endless variation of the glass/silica shells of microscopic algae. The algae are found in bodies of water, ranging in size from puddles to oceans. After the algae has died, their beautiful shells fall, creating sand. The algae form an extremely important role in life processes. The colors are from dyes used in photographing the microscopic shells. Aqua, gold, and hot pink are the major colors used in my depiction of these beautiful creatures. If you are interested in oval shapes in vibrant colors and in the science of stem cells, you may be interested in this image. It could be used in a laboratory, office, or even in your home!
