Artist's Description

This is a photo I took at Mala Harbor, Maui, Hawaii. It was a hot and sunny day, so I can imagine the lava rocks must have been hot for this little boy, running from one to the next! The old pier still stands, though there is a new boat launch nearby, on the west side of the island.
The island of Molokai is in the distance, about 7 miles across the Paniolo (cowboy) harbor.

With my lifelong interest in and study of interior design and architecture, I greatly enjoy taking pictures of buildings, interiors, and art. I have included some of my work in various Collections. I am a retired teacher, play golf, travel, camp, make jewelry, read, paint, make collages, and sew. Thank you for viewing my galleries.
