Artist's Description

The beautiful Sea Cloud, a four-masted windjammer, is at anchor in Barbados Harbor in the Caribbean. This beautiful boat was built in 1931 by Marjorie Merriweather Post and her husband, Ed Hutton. It was a glamorous private yacht and was used for entertaining their friends. It was purchased in 1978 and given new life as a luxury sailboat, now used for cruises. While docked in Barbados, passengers were disembarking and new ones embarking. This is a black and white photo of the ship.
