This is one of my favorite holes at the Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course in Maui. The golf course rolls over dunes which are about a million years old, when this section of Maui was once under water. In other words, there were two mountains--Haleakala and the West Maui Mountains. This center isthmus is where there is a lot of agriculture as well as the airport. It is quite rare to see the top of Haleakala this late in the morning, as it is usually covered with clouds!

I have been taking pictures since I was young. I love the outdoors and enjoy taking landscape and botanical photos. With my lifelong interest in and study of interior design and architecture, I greatly enjoy taking pictures of buildings, interiors, and art. I have pursued my love of art and creation by making collages with many different themes. I am also interested in the Aboriginal arts of Australia, Pointillism, Dot Art, and watercolors.
