This photo was taken in the middle of the Alum Fork River during April, when all the leaves have come out and the river was low enough to enter. (This scene is also magnificent during the winter when the leaves are covered with snow and the river is partly frozen--an image shown to me by my friends!) For those who love the outdoors and the color green, the picture would make a refreshing addition to a room. It is Zen-like and very peaceful.
I have been taking pictures since I was young. I love the outdoors and enjoy taking landscape and botanical photos. With my lifelong interest in and study of interior design and architecture, I greatly enjoy taking pictures of buildings, interiors, and art. I have pursued my love of art and creation by making collages with many different themes. I am also interested in the Aboriginal arts of Australia, Pointillism, Dot Art, and watercolors.
