Artist's Description

This is the tall ship, windjammer "Sea Cloud" sailing into Barbados harbor, an island in the Caribbean Sea. This beautiful boat was built in 1931 by Marjorie Merriweather Post and her husband, Ed Hutton. It was a glamorous private yacht and was used for entertaining their friends. It was purchased in 1978 and given new life as a luxury sailboat, now used for cruises. While docked in Barbados, new passengers were embarking.

I have been taking pictures since I was young. I love the outdoors and enjoy taking landscape and botanical photos. With my lifelong interest in and study of interior design and architecture, I greatly enjoy taking pictures of buildings, interiors, and art. I have pursued my love of art and creation by making collages with many different themes. I am also interested in the Aboriginal arts of Australia, Pointillism, Dot Art, and watercolors. I have included some of my work in various Collections. I am a retired teacher, play golf, travel, camp, make jewelry, read, paint, make collages, and sew. Thank you for viewing my galleries.
