Artist's Description

Late one afternoon, in a condo in Maui, the western sun was coming through the glass, hitting the bamboo blind. It cast such interesting shadows that I thought it would make an interesting image, with its limited color palette and wavy patterns. Light has always held fascination for me, as well as the many types of shadows and reflections it creates in our lives.

With my lifelong interest in and study of interior design and architecture, I greatly enjoy taking pictures of buildings, interiors, and art.
