Late one afternoon I saw the western sun coming through the glass, lighting up a bamboo blind. It created interesting shadows and I thought it would make an interesting image. Light has always held fascination for me, as well as the many types of shadows and reflections it creates in our lives.

I have been taking pictures since I was young. I love the outdoors and enjoy taking landscape and botanical photos. With my lifelong interest in and study of interior design and architecture, I greatly enjoy taking pictures of buildings, interiors, and art. I have pursued my love of art and creation by making collages with many different themes. I am also interested in the Aboriginal arts of Australia, Pointillism, Dot Art, and watercolors.
